Born in Osaka and raised in a religious family. His unique upbringing in the irreligious country has greatly influenced his perspective on the reality of life. With the curiosity regarding true nature, he observes and unveils its unspoken beauty and story by means of documentary and experipental approaches. He obtained photographic skills and knowledge throuhg working at a photography studio in Tokyo and as an assistance to several commercial photographers, including Fumito Shibasaki/DONNA.
